2016 Project OpportunitySM Graduation, Southern Maryland – Fall
SOUTHERN MARYLAND FALL 2016 CLASS – Consulting, Training, and Development Services partnered with Charles County Department of Economic Development and the Southern Maryland America Job Center to provide Project OpportunitySM to veterans who reside in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties. After the completion of the orientation and telephonic screening assessments a total of nine (9) veterans were accepted into the program. Here is a summary of their business ventures:

- Home Restorations
- Nonprofit assisting disadvantaged youth and adults
- Video Productions
- Consulting
- Beekeeper
- Food Service
- Beauty Shop
Classes started on September 12, 2016 at the Charles County Office Complex.
The Graduation Ceremony was held on November 21, 2016 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. A total of eight (8) veterans completed the course and graduated. Those business ventures that these graduating veterans are seeking to start or expand are:

- Ground Up Restorations
- Woodfox LLC
- Remove Barriers After Combat and Services LLC
- Martin-Page Consulting
- Three Notch Bees LLC
- T-Spot (Tea House)
Bryan K. Burton, BK Burton Voiceovers LLC and a Southern Maryland Spring 2016 Class Graduate was the Guest Speaker.
Katina McDonald, a graduate of the Project OpportunitySM Fall 2014 Class held in Odenton, Maryland and Owner of Photography by Katina McDonald provided the photographic services for the ceremony.
Murraydine Catering, owned by Murraydine Williams a Project OpportunitySM Anne Arundel Fall 2015 Class Graduate provided catering services for the graduation ceremony.
