2017 Project OpportunitySM Graduation, Baltimore – Fall
BALTIMORE FALL 2017 CLASS – Consulting, Training, and Development Services partnered with Open Works to provide Project OpportunitySM entrepreneurship training to veterans in the Baltimore Region.
A total of twenty six (26) veterans attended the Orientation Session on September 11, 2017. After the completion of the orientation and telephonic screening assessments a total of ten (10) veterans were accepted into the program. Here is a summary of their business ventures:

Classes started on October 2, 2017 at the Open Works Facility on Greenwood Avenue in Baltimore
The Graduation Ceremony was held on December 11, 2017 at the Open Works Facility. Eight (8) of the veterans completed the course and graduated with one having to postpone completion due to emergency surgery. Those business ventures that these graduating veterans are seeking to start or expand are:

Robert Worthington, Founder of Hoop Drills for Skills Basketball Camps, LLC and a 2015 graduate of Project OpportunitySM was the Guest Speaker.
Katina McDonald, a graduate of the Project OpportunitySM Fall 2014 Class held in Odenton, Maryland and Owner of Photography by Katina McDonald provided the photographic services for the ceremony.
Murraydine Catering, owned by Murraydine Williams a Project OpportunitySM Anne Arundel Fall 2015 Class Graduate provided catering services the Graduation Ceremony.
