2014 Project OpportunitySM Graduation, Columbia Maryland – Spring
COLUMBIA MARYLAND SPRING 2014 CLASS – Consulting, Training, and Development Services partnered with partnered with Howard County Economic Development Authority, The Howard County Tech Council, and the local Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulations Veterans Employment Representative to provide Project OpportunitySM to veterans in the Columbia Maryland area. The Orientation Session was conducted on March 19, 2014 with a total of twelve veterans in attendance. Ten of the veterans at the Orientation Session indicated a desire to move forward to the next screening process, the telephonic assessment. After the completion of the telephonic screening assessments a total of nine veterans were accepted into the program. Here is a summary of their business ventures:

- Catering Services
- Commercial and Home Inspection Services
Classes started on April 9, 2014 at the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship.
The Graduation Ceremony was held on June 18, 2014 at the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship. A total of eight (8) veterans completed the course and graduated. One had to withdraw due to medical issues. Here is a summary of the business ventures for this class:
