2015 Project OpportunitySM Graduation, Glen Burnie Maryland – Anne Arundel County – Spring
GLEN BURNIE, ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY SPRING 2015 CLASS – Consulting, Training, and Development Services partnered with The Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation to provide Project OpportunitySM to veterans who reside in Anne Arundel County. After the completion of the orientation and telephonic screening assessments a total of eleven (11) veterans were accepted into the program. Here is a summary of their business ventures:

Classes started on January March 19, 2015 at the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation Youth Employment Center.
The Graduation Ceremony was held on May 28, 2015 at the Arundel Workforce Development Corporation Youth Employment Center. A total of nine (9) veterans completed the course and graduated. Two veterans had to withdraw from the course due to scheduling issues. Those business ventures that these graduating veterans are seeking to start or expand are:

Enrique J. Young, a graduate of the Project OpportunitySM Spring 2014 Class held in Columbia Maryland was the Guest Speaker. Since completing Project OpportunitySM he has started his business, Forward Edge Business Alliance (FEBA) Inc. and obtained his first subcontract for physical security services.
Katina McDonald, a graduate of the Project OpportunitySM Fall 2014 Class held in Odenton, Maryland and Owner of Photography by Katina McDonald provided the photographic services for the ceremony
