2015 Project OpportunitySM Graduation, Glen Burnie Maryland – Anne Arundel & Howard County – Fall
GLEN BURNIE, ANNE ARUNDEL & HOWARD COUNTY FALL 2015 CLASS – Consulting, Training, and Development Services partnered with The Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation and the Howard County Office of Workforce Development to provide Project OpportunitySM to veterans who reside in Anne Arundel and Howard Counties. After the completion of the orientation and telephonic screening assessments a total of thirteen (13) veterans were accepted into the program. Here is a summary of their business ventures:

- Vape Tip Design and Manufacturing
- Limousine and Group Transportation Service
- Youth Outreach Center
- Home Improvement
- Event and Marketing Management
- Day Care Center
- Catering
- Hoops for Kids Basketball Camps and Programs
- Environmental Non Profit
- Food truck/catering business
Classes started on September 8, 2015 at the Anne Arundel Community College Career and Resources Center.
The Graduation Ceremony was held on November 17, 2015 at the Anne Arundel Community College Career and Resources Center. A total of eleven (11) veterans completed the course and graduated. Two veterans had to withdraw from the course due to personal issues. Those business ventures that these graduating veterans are seeking to start or expand are:

Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary George W. Owings III was the Guest Speaker.
