What was the most important thing you learned during Project Opportunity?:
The most important lesson I learned was that there is a network of people who encouraged me through the early stages of starting my business. The personal one on one coaching was invaluable and led to clarity in developing my business goals, which was instrumental to developing my business plan.

What successes have you had since completing Project Opportunity?:
Since graduating from Project Opportunity^SM in the spring of 2021, I successfully launched my concept for a retail experience that features customer created beaded bracelets. I opened my retail store in the fall of October 2021. We have served more than 15k customers and have been featured on local news channels (Fox 5, & WUSA 9), several podcasts and in local magazines. In November 2021, I won Project Opportunities Pitch Competition and have receive more than $25k in grants from the community.
